The area of the Municipality of Apollonion holds the 1/3 of the island. It includes all the big south valley, a big and fertile champaign, high mountains under the centre of the island, the calm south-east coasts of the island, the peninsula and the Lefkata cape with its white wild rocks and finally the steep west coasts which form the best beaches of the island. The area is full of waters, luxuriant vegetation, beautiful forests, canyons and caves. |
